I possess higher education degrees in the areas of physics, mathematics, finance and management. I’ve also amassed considerable experience in the management of large complex business and community projects.
During my youth, as may happen to any curious child, I was sometimes inundated by torrents of questions on what makes the universe and society tick. I couldn’t always obtain answers from books or my parents.
Time and accumulating experience coalesced into bits of vital wisdom, and with them came the understanding of what works in this universe, and how. Even though we can’t understand the entire nature and mechanics of this universe’s existence in every detail, nobody can prevent us from attempting to do this, at least partially.
In this guidebook, which is based on my life experience, I offer the reader the fruit of my observations. I don’t claim universality and originality, although I do hope to assist those searching for answers to eternal existential questions through this work.
The “Guidebook for the Development of Practical Wisdom” is a manual which exposes viewpoints on several life elements from the angle of common sense, according to modern (the end of the 20th to the beginning of the 21st centuries) understanding. It’s a sort of life concept framework which I created.
As anchors for these viewpoints, I selected the memorable proverbs, sayings and statements which I use most often in my daily life, when it becomes necessary to choose and explain one’s actions, deeds and thought processes.
Behind each proverb, saying and statement can be found timeless life wisdom to which I’ve attributed my own contemporary meaning. Since I’ve been doing this for several years already, the ideas echoed in this guidebook have been put to the test many times. They’ve demonstrated their validity when applied to various life situations.
